Born Rebecca Sinnhuber, who later became known on the stage as Dixie DeLish, is the owner and creator of  Passion Flower Fitness & Dance. As lover of artistic movement and helping others, she fell in love with fitness, food, movement, dance, performance art, and wholistic health from a very young age. She has since dedicated her life to studying the body in motion, and helping others to reclaim their vitality through movement and dance.

 

After receiving her degree in Kinesiology and a holistic health certification in 2009 from San Francisco State University, she ran away with the circus! There she performed and trained athletes from San Francisco’s Velocity Circus, all while studying performance arts and performing the Art of Burlesque. In 2018, she relocated to Newport Oregon, becoming a certified personal trainer through the National College of Sports Medicine, and a certified barre instructor through Barre Above.

 

She states, “While, I love performing and entertaining, it all comes down to how we train and what we practice on a daily bases. We must move every day, eat whole foods that nourish our bodies, learn to rejoice and love the skin we are in, and have a blast dong it!! There are many ways to move and train, and I choose ways that make my body strong and nourish my soul.”

 

Rebecca seeks to strengthen the Lincoln County arts community, promote self-discovery through movement and nurture the therapeutic nature of dance and fitness in others.
